Video reviews: Lost and Found, Warner
Independent, The (London), Feb 12, 2000 by Fiona Sturges
Asinine caper involving a desperado called Dylan (David Spade), his beautiful new neighbour (Sophie Marceau) and a terrier.
Dylan's method of wooing Marceau involves stealing her dog and accompanying her on endless walks while she tries to find him.
The plot echoes that of There's Something About Mary, though without any of the wit, invention or smut.
A scant script reduces Marceau to nothing more than a clothes horse, while her ex-boyfriend and the insufferable Spade compete for her attention like schoolboys scrapping over the latest toy.
Unadulterated rubbish.
